Atwater Junction was born on the highway outside of Maple Grove, MN when two members of a working bar band decided that it was time to delve back into some original music. With influences ranging from Wilco and Derek Trucks, to Bon Iver and Mason Jennings, the band is striving for a thick, ambient sound while holding on to strong, grounded roots. All 3 members are experienced performers, and have all written for years prior to joining forces. Every chord is soulful, every lyric is honest, and every song is felt on a deep level. If you're looking for some down-home, heartfelt music, then Atwater Junction is glad to oblige.
