Welcome to the Overplay page of Jinder, a 24yr old singer/songwriter based in Bournemouth, Dorset. Jinder is a solo artist and, in the early '00s fronted and wrote for Rock band Candlefire, best known for #18 debut single Sorrow Spreads Its Wings, released in late '02... Having toured the country twice with Candlefire in '02, Jinder has since completed two UK tours with fellow Overplay artist Olas, and in late '03 recorded the critically acclaimed Olas & Jinder album "The Best Of Days Ahead" for FrontSide Records, the release of which was stalled by the collapse of distributors 3MV .

In early 2005, Jinder signed to Folkwit Records, who released critically acclaimed debut solo album "Willow Park" in June '05.

As of February 2006, Jinder is currently in the studio recording a brand new album with, among other people, Johnny Cash's ex-pedalsteel player. The new album is set to be an upbeat country/bluegrass affair-we'll keep you posted!
