Hi All



My name is Lauren and I am a lyric writer from Essex. I began writing lyrics in my early teens when a school friend told me a poem I'd written was more like a song. I've always loved music so the fusion of both worlds seemed a natural thing. I've been taking lyric writing seriously since 2000 and enjoy learning more about the craft, how a song comes together etc. I like to create new angles to stories, write from personal experience, and use non standard words in my songs.



I have had one co-write promoted by songlink and performed live on Saint Fm local radio by vocalist Nicola Lelean. A second song finished with my friend Tyler has reached the semi finals of both the U.K Songwriting Contest and America's The Fame Games, and has received interest from publishers worldwide. A third song That's How It Goes has also been played on local radio and is being promoted. It's an amazing buzz to hear my songs finished and played on radio. Long may it continue.

A little word on the people I work with:

Tyler Earle plays piano and some guitar and has been involved in or playing music from a young age. He previously wrote song for the boyband he was a member of, which at their peak supported Westlife on tour. Tyler now plays in a rock band called The Effects and persues songwriting also. He has a smooth almost soulful vocal, adapts well to a variety of musical styles, and can produce some great melodies in his writing. More on him @ www.myspace.com/tylerearlemusic.

Zoe Handscomb: Zoe is a multi-talented lady based in Bournemouth with experience in several areas of the music industry. She has performed in musical theatre, sung with or produced rock acts, and performed cabaret shows. She has a superb and adaptable voice, song writing skills, and a great zest for life and for singing.
