Hailing from the Black Country, EXICO are as heavy as the industrial area that spawned them. Inspired by the likes of In Flames, Chimaira, Lamb Of God, and Fear Factory, and with the added iron of the black country, Exico have managed to produce a style that appeals to any lover of metal - whether it be death metal, new wave American heavy metal, or love metal, there is something about the way their songs are crafted that most can relate to.

Exico formed in late 2002. Six members; Six very individual people who enjoy different styles of music and bring that variety of taste into the sounds they produce. With two lead singers and a drummer from hell, the music is aggressive and brutal. Due in part to their youthfulness, they have only recently begun to make a name for themselves, but it should not be too long before they are as well known as the bands that inspire them.

So we're not playing the Astoria...there was only one place and a band from the very last heat got the place. So we wish everyone in the comp the best of luck, and aren't going to bitch about not being in it anymore (even though we're thinking 'Bastards'! lol).

We played the semi's for the UK ROCK - UNSIGNED competition. We've been shortlisted to play the ASTORIA in London. More news soon

We beat over 400 bands to reach 2nd place in the Wolverhampton National Battle of the Bands. Thanks to all our fans. We loved every minute of the competition.
