It couldn’t be easier to sell your music than on overplay, here’s a quick breakdown of how and where you can sell your music.
If you’re a Silver or Gold member you can sell your mp3’s, Gold members can also open a store window to sell their CD’s and merchandise too. You have total control in how much you want to sell your music for and you’ll receive a near 100% of sales (just minus paypals transaction cost). Easy!
Why do artists receive maximum commission? Well it’s your music, you’ve got the talent and Overplay has the platform and tools to get your music out there. All records of sales are managed from your admin area. For any CD and merchandise orders it will be the artists responsibility to respond and distribute sale orders. All mp3 sales are done online through overplays system so you don’t have to worry about them. There are no contracts to sign as we don’t own the rights to you or your music. The artist has total control on what and how much you would like to sell your music for.

Here are some examples of where your music would appear:

Media player All the artists songs will be listed on their own media player. The artist has the option to put their songs on sale and can set the price to whatever they like. As well as the music going on sale members can rate and add it to their favourites.	Media player Feature Cd’s you put on sale. The artist has full control on what they sell and how much for.
Merchandise area on profile Any CD’s and merchandise on sale will appear as a feature on the front page of your profile. Visitors can click through for more information showing artwork and allowing songs to be played on the CD if you wish. The choice is yours.	Overplay charts Artists most played song automatically features within a chart of their chosen genre and in overplays overall chart. If there is a shopping cart button by the song then the artist has made the song available to buy. Prices may differ as the artist has the choice in how much to sell their music for. If a 'FREE' button appears then the artist has allowed you to freely download the song.
Music store All songs, CD’s and merchandise that is available to buy will be automatically listed in Overplays Music Store listed in their genre of music.	Order reports You will receive email alerts when you have an order. Also all orders will be listed in your admin area with a report history.

How does the artist get paid?
In the artists admin area you will be able to view and manage all your sale orders.  Payment will be sent to you once your sales have reached or exceeded your chosen sales target.  Sale target is the amount you select (between £20 - £200) in your admin area.  When your sales target has been reached overplay will then send you your sales.
